Inmate Property Guidelines

Inmates may release their personal property to someone of their choice, Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., however, inmates must retain a change of clothing. Inmates may not release portions of their property. They must release all or none. The person designated to pick up the personal property must report to the Lobby counter with proper identification. Prior to the property being released, the inmate is afforded the opportunity to confirm the identity of the person to whom the property is being released.

Inmates may authorize payment to a person or place outside the facility up to the amount contained in their account. Such releases shall only be approved one time per inmate and only within 30 days from the beginning of the inmate’s incarceration.

Court clothes will be accepted for inmates going to jury trial up to seven days prior to their scheduled court date. Court clothes will be accepted Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Clothing other than court clothes will not be exchanged unless the inmate’s clothing is torn, bloody, or extremely dirty. This may be approved only one time on an item for item basis.
